Privacy Policy
Effective May 1, 2026
Iron Fortress LLC (“Iron Fortress,” “we,” “us”) operates the website at ironfortressco.com. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. We believe in being straightforward—no fine-print surprises.
Information We Collect
What we collect depends on how you interact with us. We group it by purpose, not by database column.
When you send us a message or inquiry. The contact form collects your name, email, the subject you picked, and your message. If you fill out the semi-private training inquiry form, we also collect your phone number, date of birth, gender, self-reported fitness level, preferred contact method, and any goals or referrer information you choose to share. We store these submissions and link them to your contact record so we can follow up.
When you become a member or buy access. We work with PushPress to manage memberships, day passes, and punchcards, and with Kisi to provide 24/7 door access. Through those services we receive and store your membership profile, billing status (but not your card details), your check-ins, and a log of door access events tied to your account.
When you shop the Pro Shop. Shopify runs the storefront and processes your payment. When an order is placed we receive basic order information — the items you bought, your contact info, and whether the order has been paid and fulfilled — so we can support the purchase.
When you visit the site. Our hosting provider and, if you have accepted analytics cookies, Meta receive standard information about your visit like pages viewed, approximate location, and device type. We describe these tools in “Cookies & Tracking” below.
How We Use Your Information
- Provide our services. Respond to your messages, process inquiries, manage your membership and facility access, fulfill Pro Shop orders, and run programs and events you sign up for.
- Keep the facility safe. Verify that only authorized members and guests are in the building, and keep records of check-ins and door access events.
- Improve the site. Understand which pages are useful and where the site is slow.
- Advertising and measurement. With your consent, we measure how well our ads work and show Iron Fortress to people likely to be interested.
Cookies & Tracking
When you first visit the site you'll see a banner asking whether you accept or decline analytics and advertising cookies. Your choice is saved in a first-party cookie named tracking_consent. You can change it at any time using the “Cookie Settings” link in the footer.
If you accept: we load the Meta Pixel in your browser and our site-analytics tools from Vercel. We also send conversion events (for example, submitting a form) to Meta's server-side API. Before we send your email, name, and phone number to Meta, we hash them with SHA-256 so Meta can match events without seeing the underlying values. Meta's API also requires your IP address and browser user-agent, which we send as-is so events can be matched to your browser.
If you decline: none of those scripts load, no cookies are set by Meta or Vercel, and we do not record conversion events about your visit on our servers either. We still need a small number of cookies to run the site (listed below).
Cookies we use
| Cookie | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
tracking_consent | Remembers your cookie-banner choice | 1 year |
_fbp | Meta Pixel browser identifier (only if you accept) | ~90 days |
_fbc | Meta click identifier when you arrive from a Meta ad (only if you accept) | ~90 days |
dismissed_announcements | Remembers which site banners you've closed | 1 year |
We also use your browser's local storage to remember small preferences like your theme (dark or light mode) and your Pro Shop cart. These stay on your device and are never sent to us or to third parties.
Third-Party Services
We use a small set of service providers to run the gym and this site. Each one handles data under its own privacy policy.
- PushPress — membership management, payment processing for memberships and passes, and the customer record linked to semi-private inquiries and Pro Shop/day-pass purchases. Privacy policy
- Kisi — 24/7 door access and access-log events. Privacy policy
- Shopify — Pro Shop storefront, checkout, and payment processing. Privacy policy
- Calendly — scheduling tours and consultations. Privacy policy
- Resend — transactional email delivery (for example, forwarding contact form messages). Privacy policy
- Vercel — website hosting, and—only if you accept analytics cookies—anonymous site analytics and performance monitoring. Privacy policy
- Meta (Facebook) — advertising measurement and optimization via the Meta Pixel and Conversions API. Only used if you accept analytics and advertising cookies. Privacy policy
- Google — Google Fonts serves our website typefaces, and Google Maps powers the embedded map on our contact page. Google may receive standard request information (like your IP address) when those components load. Privacy policy
- PlanetScale — managed Postgres database hosting where our application data lives. Privacy policy
Data Retention
We keep your contact messages, inquiries, membership records, access logs, and order history for as long as your relationship with Iron Fortress is active, and for a reasonable period after that for legal, accounting, tax, and safety reasons.
You can ask us to delete your data at any time (see “Your Choices” below). Some records held by our service providers—such as PushPress, Kisi, or Shopify—will be deleted in coordination with them, and they may retain limited information as required by their own policies and by law.
Your Choices
- Cookie preferences. Click “Cookie Settings” in the footer to accept or decline analytics and advertising cookies at any time.
- Deletion and access requests. Email us at contact@ironfortressco.com to request a copy of your data or ask us to delete it. For membership, access, or order records we'll coordinate with our processors (PushPress, Kisi, Shopify) to complete the request.
- Browser controls. You can also block cookies through your browser settings or use browser extensions to block tracking scripts.
Children's Privacy
Minors may train at Iron Fortress only when a parent or legal guardian has signed our liability waiver and membership terms on their behalf. In those cases, we collect the minor's information (such as name, date of birth, and emergency contact information) from the parent or guardian—not directly from the minor. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from anyone under 18 through this website.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the “Effective” date at the top. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
